What’s up Crush It Crew?
Dessert as a complete, well rounded meal- yes please!
As you’ve probably seen by now, we just launched our new MRP PACKS! Did you know that MRP was the first ever Core Nutritionals product? Talk about coming full circle. MRP has high quality ingredients and a complete macronutrient profile, so there's no need to feel one bit guilty about trading in a meal for this MRP dessert!
I don’t know that this one can even really be considered a recipe, but it’s THAT good and THAT easy, and I think everyone needs to know about it.
Our goal this year is to make living the CRUSH IT lifestyle more convenient for everyone. And this MRP PACK Microwave Cake literally can’t get any more convenient.
I don’t know about you, but I’m one of those who would much rather eat my food than drink it. But this doesn’t mean I always want to have to make elaborate recipes to satisfy that need to chew. This microwave cake is literally 2 ingredients and takes minutes to make, but gives other dessert recipes a run for their money.
All you have to do is mix and microwave. It’s literally that easy. And I love that you can choose whatever consistency your little heart desires. If you’re going for that ooey gooey center, microwave for less time. If you want a more cake-y cake, you’ll want to microwave longer. I suggest always starting out with less time and adding from there to ensure you don’t over cook it.
I went with Double Chocolate Oatmeal Cookie, but I’m already drooling over how good Blueberry Crumb Cake will be! This is the perfect meal to have any time of day, but with an equal amount of carbs and protein it makes for the perfect pre or post workout fuel.
A quick run-down of the ingredients:
MRP PACK: our MRP is a full spectrum meal replacement. The whole grain oats make the texture of this cake ideal.
Water: I went with water as the liquid here for convenience, but you could easily sub out your choice of milk.
MRP PACK Microwave Cake:
1 MRP PACK
Water or milk of choice
Instructions:
- Add MRP PACK to a microwave safe bowl. Slowly add liquid of choice and mix well. You want to create a thick, brownie batter like consistency.
- Microwave in 30 second intervals until you’ve reached your desired texture.
- Enjoy!
