Chocolate Caramel Candy Bar Protein Pops

What’s up Crush It Crew?

Spring just started, which means summer is right around the corner. I’m one who has no problem eating ice cream in the dead of winter, but there’s just something so nostalgic about ice cream popsicles on a hot day. So when we released our Chocolate Caramel Candy Bar PRO, my summer loving heart decided I’d get ready early with these Chocolate Caramel Candy Bar Protein Pops!

These pops have just 5 ingredients and pack 20g of protein each. They’re absolutely delicious, filling and come with zero guilt whatsoever!

The popsicle molds are incredibly easy to use and can be purchased in stores or on Amazon. You could also just pour your mixture onto parchment paper and insert a wooden popsicle stick in the end before freezing, the shape will just come out different.

A quick run-down of the ingredients:

Core PRO: the casein in this protein blend makes it the ideal choice for a creamy ice cream like texture

Greek Yogurt: I like the thickness you get with a low-fat Greek yogurt as opposed to a fat free, but feel free to use whichever works best for your nutritional requirements

Chocolate chips: highly recommended but not absolutely necessary. You could omit to save macros.

Coconut Oil: Again, this isn’t required, but it helps with creating more of a hard-shell coating when mixed with your melted chocolate chips

Chocolate Caramel Candy Bar Protein Pops

Ingredients:

  • 60g Chocolate Caramel Candy Bar PRO
  • 340g 2% Greek yogurt
  • 30g chocolate chips
  • 240g unsweetened almond milk
  • 7g coconut oil
  • Stevia to taste

Instructions:

    1. Mix your Greek yogurt, PRO and stevia in a bowl. It should be THICK.
    2. Divide your mixture into 4 popsicle molds and insert stick.
    3. Freeze for at least 3-4 hours.
    4. Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil in the microwave in 30 second intervals until completely melted. Be sure to mix well between intervals and not overcook.
    5. Remove popsicles from mold. If you have trouble getting them out, you can run them under hot water for a few seconds
    6. Drizzle melted chocolate on pops. Give it a few minutes and it will form a hard shell.
    7. Enjoy!

*Extra pops can be stored in the freezer in an airtight container or Ziploc freezer bag.
