Title: Fashion Designer

Responsibilities
- Draw, sketch, and plan designs for fashion apparel and promotional items
- Research fashion trends and similar designs
- Sketch drawings of apparel or promotional items, and write specifications such as color schemes, construction, material types, and accessory requirements
- Confer with management executives to discuss design ideas
- Create samples/prototypes of clothing and promotional items ensuring product is in agreement with business strategy
- Select materials and vendors/suppliers to be used for products
- Collaborate with manufacturers for materials and samples
- Maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers
Required Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in fashion or related field
